The All Time Top 10 Bits of Marketing Bullsh*t
A few months ago Mark wrote a column on Mondelez and its new “humaning” concept. Ritson labelled the move as “prime marketing bullshit” and actually added it to his top 10 list. But the move prompted a flood of reader criticism. Not because “humaning” wasn’t bullsh*t (it was) but because Ritson had missed so many other obvious all time examples. So he listened to his customers and compiled this new, definitive list of the all time greatest moments of marketing bullsh*t. In this session, he introduces each one, explain the VERY scientific manner in which he assessed it and then tear it into small pieces and flush it down the toilet.
