The Professor

Meet Mark Ritson

Mark has a PhD in Marketing from Lancaster University and has been a marketing professor at London Business School, Melbourne Business School, MIT Sloan (visiting), and the University of Minnesota. His MBA teaching has been recognised with teaching awards at LBS, MIT and MBS and he is widely acknowledged as one of the World’s leading marketing educators.

He has worked globally as a marketing consultant for clients that have included Baxter, Loewe, McKinsey, Dom Perignon, Subaru, Donna Karan, WD-40, Fresh, De Beers Group, Sephora, Benefit, Ericsson, Jurlique, Amgen, William Hill, Hennessy, News Corp, and Veuve Clicquot. For thirteen years – from 2002 to 2015 – he served as in-house professor for LVMH – the world’s largest luxury group – working in Europe with senior executives from brands like Louis Vuitton, Dom Perignon and Hennessy.

  • How long are the courses?
    • Mini MBA in Marketing

      The course runs over 10 weeks, you will have then 2 weeks to submit your exam.

      Mini MBA in Brand Management

      The course runs over 10 weeks, you will have then 2 weeks to work in the simulation.

  • How intensive are the courses?
    • Both Mini MBA in Marketing and Mini MBA in Brand Management are 100% online, which makes it easy to access anywhere in the world and anytime.

      You have a module a week with an interactive Q&A every other Friday.

      Recommended pace:

      • 3-4 hrs of weekly study
  • How many CPD points have the courses?
    • The Mini MBA courses are both accredited by the Continuous Professional Development Standards Office and you get 36 CPD credits for completing each course.

  • Can I take the courses from a different country?
    • We have alumni from over 86 countries around the world, from New York to New Delhi, London to Lebanon. Both courses are completed entirely online, so you can join us from almost anywhere in the world.

      Excluded countries

      Some students from countries with stricter controls around streaming have had trouble accessing the Mini MBA content. As such, we would advise against students joining us from the below countries:
